Thanks for answer Pat, I try what you said and results are:
1 ->..can you test in script/console?
I try it in production console and works!. What I made was:
script/console production
Model.search('text')
And returned results.
2 -> can you confirm the searchd process exists in the output of 'ps -
aux'?
The output was
...
root 26308 0.0 0.0 11688 1456 pts/1 S Jul23 0:02 /usr/
local/bin/searchd --pidfile --config /home/rails/expediente/config/
production.sphinx.conf
And viewing the searchd.production.pid returned
cat searchd.production.pid
26308
