Let's just see if we can figure out the source of the error... try
stripping back the define_index block to just 'indexes display_name',
see if that works, and if so, add the rest of the lines back one by one.
If it doesn't work with just the one field, then that makes it tricky.
What version of TS and Rails are you using? Are you using MySQL or
PostgreSQL?
