Hey guys, i've searched around a lot the last few hours but I couldn't find a solution to the following problem:
I have a pretty standard setup - a search mask in one of my views and if a user submits a query via this mask it triggers a thinking- sphinx / sphinx query. Now i can see in my log/search.log the queries a user submits to TS - but how do i analize these queries? The problem: Simple example: I want the most frequent search terms sorted by frequency. Complex example: Imagine the query "slow guitar romantic". I want a listing telling me how often all tokens appeared in all combinations and all permutations, e.g. i want a listing of how often "slow", "slow guitar", "guitar slow" and so on was searched for. And as last example, if 10 users searched for "slow guitar romantic" and 10 others searched for "slow guitar exotic" i want to know that the most frequent 2-word combination was "slow guitar". I am pretty sure google has someting like that, is there something open-source for the rails-world? Maybe even with TS on-board means? Maybe with ruport or one of its siblings?
