Hi Pat, I tried your suggestion but it gave the same error.
I am using Rails version 2.3.4 on Windows Vista. Thinking Sphinx is up and running correctly as I can search all of the movies but I want it limited to a subset of the movies. The association definitions are as given above. I'm using Restful Authenication, so the user model has other associations but nothing relating to organisation.
