git connection is timing out, i have tried couple of times :
ruby script/plugin install git://github.com/freelancing-god/thinking-sphinx.git

Initialized empty Git repository in /......./vendor/plugins/thinking-
sphinx/.git/
github.com[0: 207.97.227.239]: errno=Connection timed out
fatal: unable to connect a socket (Connection timed out)
