Hi I am trying to add the character '-' (U+2D) as a blended character, so the string 'cutting-edge' could be searched as 'cutting-edge' or 'cutting edge'.
In order to avoid Sphinx assuming the character '-' is a separator, I need to add it to the charset_table. But when I start the indexer, it fails with the following error: "blend characters must not be referenced anywhere else" I believe the reason is that the caracter '-' is specified both in blended_chars and in charset_table, but if I don't add it to charset_table, Sphinx believes it's a separator and there's no possibility to have the term 'cutting-edge'. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance, Migsy -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Thinking Sphinx" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
