Hi Mauro

Riddle is a pure Ruby wrapper for Sphinx, and both UltraSphinx and Thinking
Sphinx combine Riddle and ActiveRecord/Rails. From what I understand,
UltraSphinx isn't under active development - I know Evan Weaver has recommended
people switch to TS in the past.

As for what you want to do, it sounds like Sphinx and Thinking Sphinx will suit
your needs fine. You can filter by ranges and sort by times easily.

Cheers
