It's a bit strange with 2.0.2 -- I can run searchd manually without
any problems, but if I invoke it using the rake task, it crashes.

I've resigned to starting searchd manually, because eventually it'll
run on a dedicated machine anyway, and I wouldn't want to set up the
whole app on that machine only so I can use rake ts:start.

And in their defense, 2.1.0 is only available from the read-only SVN
repo directly, it's not even listed as a beta yet.
