I'm not sure what's going on here, to be honest. There was a patch to ensure 
search result comparison was behaving appropriately, but that is part of TS 
2.0.12. And Thinking Sphinx 1.x and 2.x use Sphinx's binary TCP protocol, so 
there's no easy way to compare the actual queries.

Are you actually seeing different results when you compare the search queries 
yourself, rather than using ==?
