Hi Sam

Thinking Sphinx is built only to work with ActiveRecord models built on top of 
SQL databases, I'm afraid, so you can't pull in XML sources.

You could investigate using Riddle directly with XML sources and see if that'll 
lead to a solution that suits - it's a bit beyond the scope of code snippets 
though.
