Hi Andrew Not entirely sure that it's related to Spork. It's worth noting in your example that you're not creating the model until you fill out the search form - so, that data isn't indexed. Also - you should use the SphinxHelpers index method in your spec instead of calling ThinkingSphinx::Test.index directly, so the timeout is used as well (so Sphinx has enough time to be aware of new changes).
