I diagnosed that the problem has to do with the stop words combined with
stemming. The stop word - 'Nine' combined with stemming caused the issue.

Is there a way we can ignore stop words on a particular fields alone like
first_name, last_name and email ? Here is the related post I see -
https://github.com/pat/thinking-sphinx/issues/580 and is this the way to go
with in case we want to ignore stop words for name and email attributes
alone and not on other attributes and models? Thanks.
