Hi Jeremy
As long as config/database.yml has the correct settings (pointing to HostA) on
both your Rails and Sphinx servers, then the right database connection details
will be used.
As for the Sphinx host, you’ll want to set that in config/sphinx.yml:
production:
address: ip.of.host.c
