Hi Walter

The best place to start for upgrading help is in the docs:
http://pat.github.io/thinking-sphinx/upgrading.html

Also, it’s worth reading the release notes for v3.0.6, v3.1.0, v3.1.1 and
v3.1.2 - it’s worth noting that particularly in v3.0.6 recommendations are made
depending on which version of Sphinx you’re using, and then some of that
behaviour is unnecessary when going onwards to v3.1.0 and beyond.
https://github.com/pat/thinking-sphinx/releases/tag/v3.0.6
https://github.com/pat/thinking-sphinx/releases/tag/v3.1.0
https://github.com/pat/thinking-sphinx/releases/tag/v3.1.1
https://github.com/pat/thinking-sphinx/releases/tag/v3.1.2

If there’s anything you come across that isn’t obvious with how to upgrade it,
do let me know.

Cheers
