Hi Pat, Thanks for your response. I've finally abandoned this option in favour of a main index plus default (immediate) delta, as I do not expect many frequent deltas for this particular index. However, I'm having a problem with the configuration of the sql_query_post_index. I need a custom delta column name. There seems to be a :column option in ThinkingSphinx::Deltas::DefaultDelta but cannot figure out how to use this in my index definition. Any tips for this?
