You're running Bart PE, (not Fart PE - I'll add civility if you cannot), and say your image of choice resides on DVD media in drive D: - The Thinkpad internal DVD drive is D , yes, no dock situation? Do you have two CD/DVD drives configured in your setup or is Bart running from USB stick? What model Thinkpad are you attempting this manner of clone onto? If you're going to ask someone to troubleshoot your issue, and they attempt to recreate the scenario, ALL the data is required. Not that I now have any further desire to assist you.
