Blow out around the button with compressed air. You might use some alcohol
to clean it out (with power off).
Gunk can build-up.

Hello all, lately I find that I have to use more force on the left
trackpoint button in order that the machine can produce a left click;
sometimes I have to press the button more than once if I press on it too
lightly. The right button does not have the same problem. Obviously I use
the left button more; does it mean that this button is showing signs of
age?
Is there any remedy for this? Thanks!
