I don't know of any screen options and any difference in memory or drive sizes would be accommodated on boot-up. AFAIK the accessory variabilities come with types of WLAN card and whether the unit has the fingerprint reader or the Bluetooth modem card. I had been concerned with whether the different 170x numbers had different motherboard chipsets and George has reassured me on that issue.
