Yes, if it is a four cell or six cell... and you used the battery down to 10% or less very many times. This is a Lenovo marketing change, I suspect. The T23, T3x, and T4x Thinkpads gave significantly better life. But that meant that IBM Lenovo didn't sell as many batteries. We find that more recent Lenovo batteries have three to five months shorter life than the T42 and T43... and that the Chinese batteries on eBay work nearly as well as the Lenovo... though not as reliably. The nine cells, if you can get them. last longer.
