I have a new (1 month old) R500 running XP (Sp 3, Lenovo preinstalled downgrade from Vista), where the Thinkvantage Registry Monitor process runs for nearly 1.5 minutes at boot time, but is unproblematic after that.
I tried setting the service to Manual start, and tried Disabling it, but the system seems to have restored it to Automatic. Anyone else solve this problem?
