I have used R&R a few times on a W500 and Vista.
By default, it "backed up" all partitions to DVDs.
I did some work with the partitions (so I could install
OS/2 and Linux) by shrinking the Vista ones. When I
went to do the restore, I ended up with a non-bootable
system (the drive partition letters had been changed!).
I called tech support and got no where. I have trashed
those DVDs. I am very glad that I used DFSee to copy
the entire internal disk drive to a USB external disk
(restores from that external via DFSee worked fine).
