Have more data

1-Verifier shows nothing amiss. In fact it does nothing. I'm
lacking verifier.hlp so if someone has for W2K pls send to me
offlist so I can see whether I am using it incorrectly

2. After a while no longer got STOP BAD_POOL_CALLER. Next I
got PFN_LIST_CORRUPT. Now I always receive on regular
boot a BSOD with nothing except message "the driver attempted to access memory beyond its
allocation" This is immediate on
booting.

3. I can run OK in safe mode. (What I'm running now.)

4. Running MSCONFIG I thought I could isolate the bad
driver (if that's what it is, which the latest message says) by
unchecking items one by one. However if I opt Selective
Install I get above BSOD if selecting ANY of the four
choices SYSTEM.INI, WIN.INI, services, startup.

I don't know how to interpret this but would welcome more
ideas based on these clues. I have available the
DRWATSON.LOG file if it would be of any use.

Going to sleep now. Will run MEMTEST overnight
Hope tomorrow is better :)
