The audio on my T60 can GENEROUSLY be described as crap! (with regards to
the onboard speakers. Volume is so poor, if I want to watch videos at say,
youtube, I have to put on head phones. Wish I could figure out how to pipe
audio through my Apple Airport... Now that little device was money well
spent!!!

I recall an old Dell desktop we had at the office years ago, came with a
Turtle Beach sound card and Audio View, sound management software that took
over Windows Audio control (inputs/outputs) and included an amplifier which
could tweak very low volume audio.

Now my old 770Z on the other hand, which the wife is using to surf and
e-mail with, has great volume output.

Inherent with the T4X series machines Jeff, the audio leaves a great deal to
be desired. At least that has been my experience with a procession of T40,
T41P, T42P and T43P machines.

Even my T6XP machines have audio that can most charitably be described as
weak.

James
