Having bought several hundred Thinkpads over the years, I haven't noticed a
significant quality difference between IBM and Lenovo other then the flex
keyboard issue which our folks never noticed since they were coming from other
brands.

Even after Lenovo owned the line, by contract they could still put IBM Thinkpad
on that corner logo for several years. So that is not a very good indicator of
the manufacturer.
