Despite research I got the wrong part for my T43s: I need a port replicator (esp. I need a serial port) and I thought what would come from ebay would be right but it's not: it's 02K8668 which turns out to be for an A20 I think.
I'd be much obliged if list members who have the various models of the T43 port replicators/docks could advise me the IBM number so I can be more particular next time I bid. I will donate my 02K8668 to anyone who requests it. Thanks for all help.
