Hi Well after trying a lot of distros and upgrading my RAM from 160MB to 288MB in my ThinkPad 600 I have left Linux and gone back to Windows. I did like Xubuntu and when I get round to getting a faster machine I might go back to it - or Ubuntu, but for now Windows XP runs quite nicely on my 300Mhz P2 with 288MB of RAM. I ran it before when I only had 160MB and that struggled quite a bit. The extra RAM has made a lot of difference. Don't get me wrong it is no speed demon, but I do have quite a bit running - right now I have Skype, DropBox, AVG and Google Chrome browser all running and it copes with it well.
