Hi everybody,

For the archives: the problem was much simpler (D'OH! like simple):
In Rescue and Recovery don't select the CD/DVD option, but use the
"default source" (or whatever it is called in the English version,
sorry).

That's the exact mistake. For some reason on some ThinkPads an F12 boot 
resets the boot order. I have seen it many times.
