Decent. Ubuntu was not good, though - It tried to do too much automatically
that was already taken care of by the ACPI BIOS.

I was most impressed with FreeBSD, actually. Fn-F4 would sleep the machine
in <1sec and it would take ~1.5sec to wake up. I still use it that way.

If you really want Linux, then I would probably go with a raw Debian
installation.
