Do you have any reason to believe that it will be possible to upgrade a standard XP system to XP Tablet Edition using OEM disks of any sort? That seems very far-fetched. OEM installation disks will generally not do upgrade installations. My apology if you've found a source that indicates that it may work - and I'd be curious to see a reference for my own education.
Another drawback to consider is the 1.8" IDE drive in the X41 Tablet. When the drive goes bad, you may have a very hard time finding a replacement at a reasonable cost. I don't think anyone has made those drives for some time. -Mike On Sun, Apr 11, 2010 at 3:12 PM, Adrian Belu <[email protected]>wrote: > I am considering buying a X4* tablet, and migrating my 2.5“ 60 GB 7200 > rpm XP SP3 running system from my current X31, to the new disk (I'm > thinking I'll do that through cloning with XXCLONE and/or DiskImage > XML).
