The best screens that were available (on 15" models only) belong to IPS FlexView range (1400x1050 on T60, by LG Phillips) and UXGA (1600x1200, ID Tech or Hydis) on T60p.
Due to these LCDs that are vastly superior to anything offered today, you would be swimming in a $300-700 range depending on many aspects of the particular unit (warranty remaining, Core Duo/Core 2 Duo, WWAN, wireless "n"...)
