If it is still under warranty it is covered. If not, buy some replacement plastic. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Marquis-Kyle" <[email protected]>

Subject: [Thinkpad] X60s case crack

I noticed that one of the screen hinges on my X60s was flexing oddly. I
found a crack in the main case, just near the Esc key, running up from
one of the vent holes. As I move the screen up and down, the crack opens
and closes -- see photos here (red arrow pointing at crack):

I would like to repair this, but I'm not sure how, and I would
appreciate your advice: How is the hinge attached? Would gluing the
crack be effective, or is something more radical needed? What sort of
adhesive?

Cheers
Peter Marquis-Kyle
