I'm running Windows 7 (64bit) on a T61p. I recently "lost" the ability to do searches from the search box (like if I typed "calc", it wouldn't find the calculator application, it just displayed some generic entries like "files"). I don't know if some recently installed software caused this (and it happened once before and is becoming a real annoyance), but I went and reinstalled Windows 7 to get everything working again. When I reinstalled Access Connections and go to "Manage Wireless Radio.", though, only the 802.11 Wireless and Bluetooth radios show up and not the Verizon Wireless WAN (which I do use). All 3 did show up in my previous Windows 7 (64bit) installation, but not in this latest.
I am able to use the Verizon Wireless Mobile Broadband connection, but I can't manage (power it on and off) it any more. Anyone have any thoughts on getting it to show up? Thanks. -Dan Galender _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad
