Not sure about the screen brightness (it looks great to me, but I'm not
terribly demanding in this regard), and I don't know about the tablet
part either, but at least my X201s is exactly what I've always wanted my
X30 to be: quiet, light, fast, good autonomy, great keyboard, and it still
(just) fits in my small backpack.

PS: The only negative point on my X201s is that the screen bezel is so
thick it makes me wonder why they couldn't put a 13" screen in
there instead.
