Install it and if it does not work take it out and file a PP complaint.
There, that was easy.
How the heck could we know if it is good or not?

Good luck. Give us a report when all is well, what you had to do, and

I ordered a new 42W7872 motherboard from Lapzone.com using a PayPal
account. The package shipment was significantly delayed because it
was not in stock, though I was not notified before the order was
accepted. It finally shipped and then Fedex delivered the package
late. I checked ratings for Lapzone but somehow missed all the
negative reviews I see now at:

I am concerned that this system board is not new as claimed and so
doubt about whether installing it is worthwhile. Also, should I open
a claim with PayPal? And is it possible to find more information
about a particular part and serial number from Lenovo?
Thanks.
