Hello,

I did a quick visit to both NewEgg and ZipZoomFly's sites and both of them
only stocked 5400RPM PATA (IDE) hard disk drives. One thing to consider
is that the 240X may not be able recognize the full capacity of a modern
hard disk drive, at least, not without using special BIOS overlay software.

Hi
I have an old 15GB 4200RPM drive in my ThinkPad 240x.
I want to put something bigger in it. 15GB just aint big enough for two OSes. Is there any mileage in getting a faster drive, like a 5400 or 7200RPM drive?
It helped in a Mac I had a year ago.
