Thanks to the great advice I got on this list, I got my wife a T61 and we're
really pleased with it. One thing I've noticed is that it's really - and I mean
really quiet compared to the old T22 we have. I've had a look for a fix, but so
far I haven't found one that works.
I know others have had this issue, because elsewhere they've asked how to
address it, but the advice I've seen so far is that the T series are business
machines - so live with it or buy some external speakers.
I found the following advice - which I tried to no avail:
"...I went to Sound in Control Panel, then go to Speakers and click
Properties I could solve the problem. Under the Advanced tab, turn off
Exclusive Mode and now my Audio can go up to twice the volume."
It running Vista Business OS. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
