I used to own a X61T with the high resolution 1400x1050 screens, one of my
favorite of all of the Tpad X's I have ever one. I'm also partial to a X61s.
They're about $400 on ebay. I would not play with an X4x because the unique
interface of the 1.8" hard drive limits hard drive expansion options to
either a slow 4200 RPM drive or a fairly expensive (but reasonably fast) SSD
option.

I have seen the light (allegorically) and am now a LED backlight convert and
am banging this out on a X301. A bright screen is a very good thing.
