I am holidaying in Paris, with my ThinkPad X60s. The battery (a recently-bought generic one) has gone bad -- the machine, while running on battery, suddenly went black. I guess that a conductor inside the battery failed. Time for a new battery.
Which brings me to my question: Can anyone here recommend a retailer in Paris that would have an X60s battery in stock? I don't speak any French, and will be here for a few days before going to Italy, but I am keen to get a replacement battery if I can.
