Hello all,
There is a spot on the inside of my screen, or so it appears. I have
tried using the methods outlined on the Lenovo website, which did
not help.
It is a small spot approximately 1/2 cm in size.
Any thoughts on how to clean it??
Thank you,

*Inside* the display? Did this just appear one day?
My A31p had a weird spot that was perhaps a cm long and not as
wide. It was a defect in the original manufacture, and that was
that. It was brighter than the area around it. If you have something
like this, your only option is to get a new display.
But I'm still wondering what you mean by "inside".

Steve,
Thank you for your response. What I mean is, it is a spot which I
cannot remove through instructions provided at the Lenovo web site.
Even when using my fingernail to "lightly" rub the area, nothing
happens. I have used water on a soft cloth as well.. so it was my
thoughts, it must be on the inside of the screen or rather, not
accessible from the front?
It is on the lower right hand side of the display.
Thanks again,
SS
I'm still confused. If the laptop is off, can you see something on the
display? If you can't then the problem is indeed in the display itself
and there is nothing you can do about it. If you can see it, it is an
external thing and with enough cleaning you ought to be able to
get rid of it, unless something really hot hit it (a friend had a drop
of hot grease hit his laptop, making a teeny melt mark!).
