Michael The boot order is set to USB, CD, HD.
My flash drive flashes a couple of times after the boot menu has gone and then carries on booting to the next device. Im not sure if my device is a working bootable as at present I have no other machine to test it on. After powering up the machine, did you press F12 at the ThinkPad logo screen to get the boot order menu?
