"Better" is the key word there.
Cheaper? eBay.
If you're in a big city, you might have parts suppliers, or laptop
repair shops, or junk stores where you could get one faster.
But if you want the perfect part, with a warranty, pretty quickly (all
at a price, of course), then IBM/Lenovo parts is the way to go.
I'd start with opening the machine and ensuring the fan is clear of
dust, and that it spins under power.
