The largest drive that doesn't trigger the error is Fujitsu MHV2120AH which is 120GB/5400rpm.
Having said that, there's a modded BIOS available that gets rid of the "2010 error" on T43/p, R52 and X41/T: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=92115 None of this applies to T60, BTW. No error, no fix needed. Good luck. What is the largest hard disk for a T43 that will run without a complaint at boot-time? Does it depend on the disk manufacturer, or is it simple dependent on the size of the disk? Also, is there any such limitation for a T60? -- Timothy Murphy e-mail: gayleard /at/ eircom.net tel: +353-86-2336090, +353-1-2842366 s-mail: School of Mathematics, Trinity College, Dublin 2, Ireland _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad
