T43 WXP was in suspend, didn't come back to life. I shut down and rebooted and it wasn't behaving right. Tried safe mode, then revert to last good config etc a couple of times. Hard drive spun a lot.
It finally boots but after the dt comes up normally, in about a minute the mouse and keypad freeze. You can actually see 2-3 images of the cursor where it apparently was moving and the screen repaint process was stalled somehow. This is the same with T43 keyboard or ext keyboard connected via ports on back of dock. Very keen for ideas what kind of thing might be wrong or what more I need to do to diagnose as I'm about to fly to USA tomorrow and don't know what to do.
