It's only a tiny bit higher than other recent high-density ThinkPad
displays:

1600x900 on a 12.5" panel = 147 pixels per inch (X220++)
1400x1050 on a 12.1" panel = 145 pixels per inch (X61 Tablet)
1920x1080 on a 15.6" panel = 141 pixels per inch (W510 FHD)

Here's a list of a fair variety of machines and their pixel densities:

Windows 7 helps a lot with the high density. I set the W510 and X61t to 140
DPI in the display control panel and select larger fonts in browsers and
other apps, and use Ctrl+Plus liberally. My basic font setting in Firefox is
proportional=Georgia/Verdana 18, monospace=Consolas 18, minimum font size
14. In Chrome it's Georgia 20, Consolas 20, minimum 15. (Each browser seems
to scale things a bit differently - the actual sizes end up smaller.)
