The reason they wont work is that IBM have coded into the bios a
checksum that prevents the laptop from booting if it hasnt got an
originally made and genuine battery and psu installed.
This has been the case right back to the A21p series.
youll need to put the unacceptable items bak on ebay as someone else
might be able to use them, then buy the proper ones for your Thinkpad.
