I've used Denaq for replacement Thinkpad batteries with great results.
They are US based and offer (and make good on) a one year warranty.

send me a working battery, which is more than most of the crooks out
there. They list an address and phone numbers on their site. I would
never buy from anyone who does not do at least that.
