Greetings, my T42 model 2373-JXU has been having fan problems for the last week or so. Occasional heavy whirring, and once a BSOD with fan related errors.
According to the HMM, the FRU for my model should be 41W5204. I have taken the keyboard out and the only identification I see on the assembly is s050413cn. Can anyone confirm that I do have the right FRU? I have been looking on ebay, and found 2 sellers offering this part new, not refurbished ny-citi-com and finestart88. Anyone has any comment on them, positive or negative? Much obliged.
