It's impossible to tell without knowing the model number. It's the first four characters (such as 8942) that determine the machine's international warranty coverage.
Be also aware that the coverage level will greatly differ by the country. It can be checked on this page: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=LENV-IWS Hope this helps - good luck. Hi all, Someone of my family will be in Canada for a long time and needs a laptop. He may buy one when there, but what will happen with warranty when back in Europe? Is the warranty and/or any protection plan etc. still valid in Europe? Thank you. -- Thibault Massart aka Thibouille/Thibs ---------------------- Photo: K-7, Sigma 28/1.8 macro, FA50/1.4, DA40Ltd, K30/2.8, DA16-45, DA50-135, DA50-200, 360FGZ ? ? ? ? ?
