I haven't seen any of these so I really can't comment on it first hand. Good luck. I just received an X220 with IPS display. I've never had an IPS display before, so perhaps this is 'normal' -- though we do have an iPad (which I believe is also IPS) and haven't ever noticed anything similar on it. If I leave an application window open for, say, 10 minutes, and then close it -- I can see a lingering after-image on the desktop. I can even reboot and still see it when I log back in. I seems to fade after a few minutes, but I'm surprised by this behavior. After a call with support, it seems there might be a problem with some particular make of panels, though it still seems 'unofficial' -- anyhow, they sent me a box and I sent it off to ezserv. Hopefully it can be corrected by a different make of IPS. _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad _______________________________________________ Thinkpad mailing list [email protected] http://stderr.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/thinkpad
