FWIW, found an R60 battery listed on Buy.com, promising to be genuine new Lenovo, for $66.50. Called to verify this, they said it would be. Ordered it, and it was: came in the usual "PC Options" box with Lenovo barcodes and Lenovo security seal tape. The R60 likes it.
